Songpa-gu includes Jamsil, Olympic Park, and Lotte World Tower — one of the world's tallest buildings and a major tourism hub. The food scene is family-friendly and commercially vibrant: department store food halls, international chains, and Korean comfort food restaurants that cater to the large residential population. Lotte World Mall's food floor alone contains dozens of notable dining options.
I went during lunch time and it was really crowded.. The tables were very close together.. It seems like a place that many people frequent.. I ordered several menus, but I ordered sundaeguk.. If you ask me if I would go back.. I would definitely say this place.. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either. It wasn't bad either.
I visited Jamsil Baekam Sundae, located near Jamsil Saenae Station in Songpa-gu. The menu features sundae soup and boiled pork soup with rice, and boiled pork and assorted sundae were also popular. I had kimchi sundae soup, and the broth was spicy but not greasy, with a clean finish, which was nice. The portions of sundae and meat were generous, and the meat was particularly flavorful without any unpleasant odor. I'm not a fan of cellophane sundae, but the combination of vegetables and blood made it delicious. The kimchi added to the dish made it refreshing, like kimchi soup, but considering the thick broth, I think some people might like it or not. Even with rice, it was filling, and the side dishes of kkakdugi (Korean radish kimchi) and young radish kimchi complemented the sundae soup well. There was also counter seating, making it easy to eat alone. Even during dinner time, there were plenty of customers, and many takeout orders were also available, creating a lively atmosphere.
It is a clean, delicious, and rich sundaeguk. There is no gamey or unpleasant odor, and the quality of the meat is quite good. The quality of the bowls and the atmosphere are also better than other sundaeguk restaurants.
