Adore is always the first place I think of when choosing a gift for someone special. The packaging is elegant, and every piece feels carefully crafted and high quality. I also treat myself to a piece when I need a small reward. My favorite is the orangette❤️❤️ the balance of rich chocolate and slightly bitter orange peel is perfect. I never miss their seasonal editions, especially the Valentine’s Day collection. Truly the best chocolate experience you can have in Korea🧡

Adore is a small chocolate shop tucked away in an alley, where you can taste beautiful and unique chocolates every season! I first stumbled upon this place while wandering around my neighborhood and instantly fell in love with their Raindrop Chocolates. It’s been five years since then, and I’ve been a loyal regular ever since :) They’ve even been recognized by the Blue Ribbon Awards since 2020! From fruity and nutty flavors to deep, rich chocolate notes — their Raindrop Chocolates are something I’ve gifted to many friends and enjoyed countless times myself. For an everyday treat, I usually go for the truffles or the Job’s tears bark chocolates — both taste amazing and are reasonably priced. The truffles were so popular after their first launch that they became a permanent item, and I couldn’t be happier 🙂❤️ This time, I stopped by to try their collaboration chocolate with Ilyeop Pyeonju, a traditional Korean liquor. I think they’ve been doing this collab for around four years now, and it’s honestly one of my favorites — you can really taste the delicate aroma of the liquor! It’s a seasonal item though, not available year-round. In spring, you can find chocolates with dried flower petals; around autumn, the Ilyeop Pyeonju chocolates return; and of course, winter is Valentine’s season — truly the season of chocolate. There’s always something new to enjoy, no matter the time of year. If you’re in Korea, especially in Seoul, I highly recommend visiting Adore and experiencing how their chocolates change with the seasons. Even if you’re visiting from abroad, it’s worth stopping by to taste the perfect seasonal chocolate while you’re here!
