すべて見る →Rating food is almost always subjective. Background: It has been difficult to find food in Korea as tasty as my wife cooks in the US. (when her sister visited us from Korea a few months ago, she said we would find this to be true when we went to Korea). Review: The spicy pork I ate (twice so far) is just as good as my wife's. Thick rich sauce, sweet, just the right spice. Side dishes are good as well. My wife had some fried fish the first time which she said was ok, and some type of stew the second time, which she didn't like much. She does agree with me about the pork and side dishes.
Since 2002. Main branch. I ordered grilled mackerel and stir-fried pork. A single piece of fatty, savory grilled mackerel, in season for fall, wrapped in perilla leaves, is enough to fill a bowl. The bean sprout soup, seasoned with spicy red pepper powder, and the sour, fermented kimchi are refreshing. The stir-fried pork, with its slightly smoky flavor, is rich in broth and thinly sliced, making it perfect for a rice bowl. It's perfect for mixing with rice. I had a delicious meal and left.
When my wife and I were dating, we were looking for a decent restaurant near Sungshin Women's University Station, and we stumbled upon this place while wandering through the residential areas. It's a place where you can enjoy a clean grilled fish and rice, and it's popular with students living alone, office workers, and laborers in the area. Prices have gone up a bit compared to the area's other commercial districts, but it's still a great place to grab a meal.
