The area has a growing food scene with a mix of established Korean restaurant clusters and newer commercial developments bringing café chains and international options to the expanding population.
It's sweet tteokbokki, so it's not burdensome, and the special sauce on the tteokbokki is spicy and addictive.. I want to get it separately and dip it in it... Especially, the fried food is top-notch, so you should definitely try it...!!
Hwagok-dong, a neighborhood with surprisingly many old-school eateries and hidden gems, boasts this snack bar that's upheld its tradition for 20 years. ✅ Tteokbokki has just the right sweetness. The sticky blood sausage is insanely chewy. ✅ I didn't expect much, but the boneless chicken is seriously, seriously recommended. ✅ Food comes out super fast after ordering ✅ Great spot for solo dining since you can eat in or take out The chicken was way tastier than I expected, so I wolfed it down. Next time I'm trying the dakgangjeong 🤤 == A snack restaurant that has maintained its tradition for 20 years in Hwagok-dong, which is home to many old restaurants and restaurants. ✅ Tteokbokki has the right amount of sweetness. The chalsundae (sundae) was incredibly chewy. ✅ I didn't expect much, but I highly recommend the boneless chicken. ✅ The food came out quickly after ordering. ✅ They offer both dine-in and takeout, so it's a great place to eat alone.
