Overview
The Namsan Cable Car is a facility that allows visitors to enjoy panoramic views of Seoul from Hoehyeon-dong to the summit of Namsan. It began operation on May 12, 1962, and continues to this day. The cable car runs about 600 meters from Hoehyeon-dong platform to Yejang-dong-dong platform at the summit of Namsan. The cable car operates simultaneously: one to the summit and one down toward the main building's platform. Facilities are fully equipped to ensure safe use even when the capacity is full. You can take the shuttle bus from Myeongdong Station Exit 1 or in front of the main entrance of Seoul Square at Seoul Station to reach the Namsan Cable Car platform.
