Overview
The Hansaeng Research Life Science Museum is Korea's first life sciences museum, opened in April 2006 to expand the base of science culture and specialize in life sciences. It is a place where visitors can enjoy experiential learning about life sciences. Upon opening, it will present various experimental exhibitions, hands-on experiences, educational programs, and events to the public, aiming to become a life science museum on a small scale in the city or on a larger scale, a life science museum in the world. The Hansaeng Research Life Science Museum aims not only to provide a proper understanding of the human body, animals, plants, insects, and microorganisms, but also to scientifically explore genes and life phenomena using advanced experimental machinery. This museum is developing and possessing a wealth of content to become a museum that offers experience-centered visits, rather than just a visual experience. Additionally, through the museum's core function of continuous data collection and research, it aims to provide more popular and professional scientific exhibitions, making it a space for lifelong education.
