About the District
Songpa-gu
Songpa-gu includes Jamsil, Olympic Park, and Lotte World Tower — one of the world's tallest buildings and a major tourism hub. The food scene is family-friendly and commercially vibrant: department store food halls, international chains, and Korean comfort food restaurants that cater to the large residential population. Lotte World Mall's food floor alone contains dozens of notable dining options.

Environment : ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The location:right next to Seokcho lake making it a desirable spot with tons of potential. You can get there by bus or subway with a small walk. Green subway line in Seoul, or pink line for seongnam. The restaurant itself is easy to notice thanks well signed front.
Interior: Big windows helps bringing in lots of natural light and thanks to the height from floor to ceiling it offer a spacious table arrangements.
Theme: Slowing things down, like turtles are often pictured to be slow, is good and all if every element comes together. Food, interior, atmosphere and "showcase". In my personal view, the mix in the interior brings parts of confusion. It seems to be table service but it's a self service for getting cutlery and extra plates. As well as the wine fridges meeting me as I enter, takes away my curiosity to potentially only get a coffee. However, the green elements are great and if combined better with the rest of the interior, it would be even looking better. Also the fact that there are self ordering tablets, ruins the money and design of the other interior details. But business wise, I can understand why.
Food: Portions are small and compared to price, it is overpriced beyond any knowledge. You could go to Lotte World towers food court and get more value. The Chef in charge can't be serious with this price system on their current menu.
The lemon chicken - was a disappointment. It's a basic sauce, yet there was very minimal flavors. For the price of 24,000 won I expect more flavor for such a small portion.
The risotto - This was very far from what a risotto should taste like. Lack of /minimal flavor.
No where near the creamy and rich texture and flavors as it should have. I'm being harsh because as a Chef, you should be able to make the basics. Especially for the price.
But to the defense of the restaurant, the kitchen team or head chef are new.
The beverages, latte and peach earl grey tea was very pleasant and flavorful.
Overall it is very pricey and the food was very disappointing. However, interior and vibe is good and there is tons of opportunities, like mentioned if things are being corrected.
The menu has been recently updated and it is now in English as well. Honestly, just because a place doesn't have English menus, doesn't mean that they aren't foreign friendly. There are pictures for those finding it difficult.
They have turtles here which is very unique and cool. However, it is not a "kids cafe" and definitely by the interior you can tell it is not your neighborhood family cafe. Even if it was - Manners and etiquette - is something that should be remembered when you visit any kind of food and beverage establishments, or generally public areas.
I like the place itself and the beverages I tried, the space is comfortable and relaxing. Food definitely needs improvements and if the Chef is good, he or she SHOULD be able to get it right.
I will give it another shot soon and hopefully things have improved.
To the owner, if happen to read this, if you need help with the food let me know. I would be more than happy help.

Infant. I was planning to feed my infant baby food while eating with the adult diners, since they were allowed to bring their pets. However, baby food is from outside sources and is not allowed, and there's no baby food on the menu. My baby did eat, but if that's the rule, I think the no-kids zone is appropriate. I don't recommend this if you're bringing infants.

Not very foreigner-friendly, as only one staff member could speak a little English, and the food ordering machine had no English option (Korean only).
The food was great, especially the steak pasta. The coffee was just okay. I ordered food for three adults and one child, and it cost around 140,000 won.
The turtles in the café are definitely one of the highlights! On the day I visited, there were many children, but the atmosphere was still calm and not noisy.
