Mapo-gu — home to Hongdae, Sinchon, and Hapjeong — is Seoul's youth and arts district, defined by its university population, live music venues, and creative energy. The food scene is diverse, affordable, and experimental: trendy cafés, late-night pojangmacha, global street food, and boundary-pushing restaurants all compete for attention in this perpetually buzzing neighbourhood.
A place where reservations are essential, a place I want to visit often and become a regular at. I usually can't stand anything fishy, but I really enjoyed everything here. The food is very clean and delicious.
First visit to Haegeumdo Fresh seafood Friendly staff Tender meat and perfectly cooked dishes!!! Perfect japchae!!! I made a reservation, but it was convenient There seems to be a long wait for walk-ins. Will definitely visit again 💯
Haegeumdo is a wonderful restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seasonal fish and seafood, freshly caught from coastal areas like Tongyeong, Yeosu, and Mokpo, prepared in a variety of ways, including grilled and braised dishes. They say simply eating seasonal food is a lifesaver, but with such delicious food, you couldn't ask for more. This is such a wonderful place and restaurant, I cautiously predict that reservations will be hard to come by. I had a delicious meal today.
