Mapo-gu — home to Hongdae, Sinchon, and Hapjeong — is Seoul's youth and arts district, defined by its university population, live music venues, and creative energy. The food scene is diverse, affordable, and experimental: trendy cafés, late-night pojangmacha, global street food, and boundary-pushing restaurants all compete for attention in this perpetually buzzing neighbourhood.
A bit of a mixed experience but only due to my expectations. Very nice and local restaurant, famous for their Tteokboki, which is comforting and delicious. Now the menu is really limited and I guess it’s more of a quick eating restaurant, worth mentioning there is no alcohol served which makes it kind of underwhelming as their food is very beer and soju friendly. Did not order anything else, but they have a concise selection of Korean dishes, the owners/workers were very nice people. Value is unbeatable!

This restaurant is very recommended. I love the taste of Korean food. If you love Tteokbokki, you must visit this restaurant.
Good food excellent vibes! Small store though so may need to wait for table. We got the yuringi kimbap and cheese fountain tteokbokki which was smokey and not too spicy
