Overview
Onsu Urban Natural Park spans Yangcheon-gu and Guro-gu in the southwest of Seoul, while Gyeonggi-do borders Bucheon City. It borders the Gyeongin National Road to the south, the Nambu Ring Road to the east, and the Gyeongin Expressway to the north, making access very convenient. Designated as a park in 1971, it is a typical natural park with well-preserved diverse vegetation, visited by about 180,000 citizens annually. Rest facilities such as spring pools, badminton courts, fitness centers, benches, and exercise equipment like horizontal bars and waist spins are installed throughout the trail, receiving positive feedback from many citizens. Created within the Onsu Urban Natural Park, Jatjeol Park features a pond and deck that provide a refreshing summer experience, and an annual firefly release event is held.
