Korean cuisine (hansik) is built around balance — fermented sides (banchan), a steaming bowl of rice, and a main dish that changes with the season. Meals are served all at once rather than in courses, and sharing dishes at the table is the norm. The depth of flavor comes from slow-fermented pastes like doenjang (soybean) and gochujang (chili), which form the backbone of soups, stews, and marinades across the country.
Yeongdeungpo-gu's Times Square mall and Yeouido financial district generate a diverse food scene of department store restaurants, business lunch spots, and the Han River cycling culture that has made outdoor food and coffee culture a fixture of the waterfront.
I had a delicious meal and left!!! It's close to my house, so it's only a 5-minute walk away. It's close and nice!!! It was my first time there, but the food was good and I'm satisfied!!
One of the hidden jem. I have walked past this place at least several hundred times but had never really walked in because the door is always closed, and it always seems empty (almost seems like they are closed). However, the food is amazing. I had never had such a delicious jajianmian before as I saw the chef cook the food, including making the sauce fresh. Most of the other restaurants, they will already have the sauce ready and just boil the noodle and add the sauce. But this was made fresh, and the quality of the incredible was incredible. I strongly recommend trying out this place. It's a Chinese restaurant that also sells grill stick lamb, which I will be planning to try that out next! Believe the chef is Chinese, as i overheard them speaking in Chinese. Note that the lamb has a minimum of 2 people to dine.

I didn't get to try the lamb skewers, but I only had lunch, and it was the best value for money Chinese original. The Hyangla Yuksul (9 lbs) was better with more coriander, but it was okay. The Eggplant Fried Rice (7 lbs) was better with more eggplant, but considering the price, there's nothing to say.
