New Namwon Bunsik is the 22nd restaurant of the 'Making Delicious Jeju' initiative, which reopened in 2019 with recipe transfer and remodeling support from Hotel Shilla. With the remodeling and introduction of new menus supported by Hotel Shilla, the restaurant's name was changed from 'Namwon Bunsik' to 'New Namwon Bunsik'.
