Gangdong-gu in southeastern Seoul is a family-oriented district known for its community markets and traditional Korean restaurants. Cheonho Market offers one of Seoul's best selections of traditional banchan, grilled fish, and home-style Korean cooking away from the tourist circuit.
Best jajamyung in Amsa. It's 3700 won for 1 big bowl. They do combo meals for 2 people where you can get 2 jajamyung and 1 tang soo yook (sweet and sour pork) for 21000 won! Unreal deal for a massive meal!
Compared to Gwangjin-gyo Branch 4, the food is somewhat bland and lacking in flavor. However, there are some merits, such as the set menu and the 11,000 won nurungji soup. (The taste is just so-so...)
