Notable Architecture in Gangwon-do

Noam Tunnel is a hidden gem in Gangneung, starting from Ipam-dong and extending to Jungang Market's Wolhwa Street. It used to be a route where trains actually came and went, but with the construction of the KTX railway, it lost its original function and transformed into a tourist destination. Today, it is part of Gangneung's Bau-gil, one of Korea's top three trekking routes. Inside the tunnel, traces from long ago remain throughout, offering unique attractions, and looking out from inside the tunnel also evokes a unique mysterious atmosphere.
