Overview
Yongmasan, at an elevation of 348m, is the highest peak of Achasan and is located in Donghyeon, Myeonmok-dong. It's the perfect place to enjoy nature close to the city center. The hiking trail follows the ridge between Manguri Park and Junggok-dong, passing through Acha Fortress from Manguri to near the back gate of Children's Grand Park. The view of Seoul from the summit is spectacular, and on clear days, you can see the Han River and Bukhansan Mountain. Yongmasan is also a treasure trove of ecosystems inhabited by various plants and animals. In spring, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and in autumn, the autumn foliage is beautiful, making it a popular destination visited year-round.
