Overview
Salgoti Sports Park is located near the meeting point of Cheonggyecheon and Jungnangcheon, and it can be seen directly from Hanyang University when looking down. This area features multipurpose sports facilities such as an inline-only skating rink, soccer field, basketball court, and badminton court. Around the park, there are separate paths for bicycles and pedestrians. Additionally, year-round walking events and short marathons are held, making it a popular spot among cyclists. In summer, a free water play area is available. The name Salgot originates from the history of Taejo Yi Seong-gye, the founder of Joseon, and his son Yi Bang-won.
