The Traditional Dye Botanical Garden is located in the backyard of the National Museum of Korea, serving as a space to revive the preciousness of Korea's traditional dye culture. The National Museum of Korea has established a traditional dye botanical garden to revive traditional dye culture and enrich our parched hearts by planting and cultivating traditional dye plants that our ancestors used to create colors. Here, a variety of well-studied dye plants and landscape trees are planted harmoniously, making it an educational spot that informs visitors about the role of plants used in traditional dyeing. The Traditional Dye Plant Garden offers opportunities to understand our traditions through connection with nature and appreciate the beauty of dye plants. This is a special space that helps deepen understanding of traditional culture and allows visitors to experience the history and process of dyeing. In spring, the plum blossoms bloom in full bloom, making it a famous hidden photo spot.
