Overview
Dobongsan, the northernmost point of Seoul bordering Uijeongbu in Gyeonggi Province, is located below the high peaks of Jaunbong at 740m and Obongsan at 683m, including Yeongyeongcheon Valley, Munsa-dong Valley, and Wondobong Valley. At the last slope descending from the mountain summit to the village, there is a long valley that is also called Dobong Valley or Musugol Valley. Musugol Valley is a place where you can encounter many rocks and streams. It is a popular valley loved by those seeking mountains and water to escape the summer heat. However, since it is located within Bukhansan National Park, access is only temporarily permitted. Additionally, camping, cooking, smoking, pets allowed, possession of noise-making devices, use of parasols, hammocks, and folding chairs are all prohibited or restricted.
