Overview
The Lee Bong-chang History Echo Hall is a memorial hall built near the site of his former home to honor the history of his independence struggle and patriotic spirit of Yongsan. A bust of Dr. Lee Bong-chang and a declaration of the Korean Patriotic Corps are on display. Born in Wonhyo-ro 2-ga, Yongsan, raised in Hyochang-dong, working as a station staff member at Yongsan Station, and becoming the first member of the Korean Patriotic Corps, the book organizes the story and materials covering his entire life. On January 18, 1932, the day of the Incident, visitors can view the scene in VR, and there are spaces for activities such as AR experiences for Korean Patriotic Corps members, historical resonant word tickets, and stamp experiences. Additionally, near the Lee Bongchang History Woollim Hall, you can explore the footsteps of independence activists by visiting the sites of Hyochang Park, the graves of Baekbeom Kim Gu, the Three Doctors, the Provisional Government officials' graves, and the Patriotic Shrine.
