Overview
KT&G Sangsangmadang is a complex cultural space that opened in September 2007 in front of Hongdae Festival Street. Before opening the complex cultural space, Sangsangmadang had already started online in the fields of photography, comics, literature, and short films, and through about three years of active activity, it has solidified its position. Sangsangmadang, a complex cultural space established in front of Hongdae, expands its range of creative support and activities across various genres by combining the four online fields with music, art, design, and performance. With a cinema, performance hall, design square, gallery, academy, photo studio, and café, it supports artists' cultural and artistic creative activities and offers the general public opportunities to enjoy culture. Through various spaces designed for performance, film, exhibition, education, and design, it presents and shares diverse cultural and artistic trends, contributing to the creation of new culture.
