Overview
Kids Auto Park is a children's traffic safety experience center located behind Imagination Land within Seoul Children's Grand Park. It was established by the NGO (Korea Citizens' Safety Alliance), a company (Hyundai Motor Group), and a local government (Seoul Metropolitan Government) to nurture advanced traffic citizens by educating children to learn traffic safety easily and enjoyably through hands-on experiences. On a 3,000㎡ site, driving courses and traffic lights are set up so that children can experience traffic culture while driving. This facility is equipped with various facilities such as a virtual auto experience center, pedestrian training center, driving training center, traffic safety license test center, and auto booth. Through immersive videos, participants can experience various educational programs such as virtual experiences, seatbelt trials, and walking exercises. At Kids Auto Park, the program is operated using experience cars designed to provide stable and comfortable driving, modeled after past Hyundai models. Advance reservations on the Kids Auto Park website are mandatory before visiting. Children in grades 1~4 who have completed the elementary experience education will take exams (written test, walking test, driving test) and then be issued a children's traffic safety license.
