Overview
The Istanbul Cultural Center was established in Gangnam by Turks in 1998. With the aim of promoting mutual understanding between Korea and Turkey, it displays Turkey-related books, video materials, and other documents, as well as publications sharing local news from Turkey. Additionally, it conducts various programs to promote cultural exchange, academic exchange projects such as palloships, Turkish language courses, and fostering tourism industries between Korea and Turkey. To make Turkish culture more accessible, one-day classes are offered to help participants better understand and engage with Turkish culture through various dishes and crafts. The Istanbul Cultural Center is located about 290 meters from Exit 2 of Seocho Station in the metropolitan subway.
