Overview
Guro Neighborhood Park was established in August 2008 as a relaxation space for local residents. This place is surrounded by various cultural and artistic spaces such as the Guro Community Center, making it a suitable spot for family cultural outings. At the park entrance, there is a sculpture that strengthens the friendship between Guro District and its sister city, Issy-les-Moulinaux in France. Additionally, Guro Neighborhood Park is centered around a large performance hall, outdoor stage, fountain, indoor rest area, and outdoor benches, and extends to the school park created by the opening of the fence of nearby Yeonglim Middle School. Guro Neighborhood Park is the starting point of Art Valley Trail, located about 10 minutes from Guro Street Park and Guro Library, and is adjacent to the Korea Arts & Culture Education Promotion Agency. The most representative cultural space is the Guro Art Valley Arts Theater, located to the left of Guro Neighborhood Park. The 150-meter path from Guro Neighborhood Park to the main gate of Youngnim Middle School has been designated as a 'Streets You Want to Walk in Seoul,' and ginkgo trees line both sides, making it a great walking route.
