Overview
The Gangdong Cultural Center was established in 1999 to develop, promote, preserve, transmit, and promote local culture in Gangdong-gu. Founded in 1999, it had limited operations until then, but in 2005, with the formation of a new executive team, it has been actively involved in conducting a survey of the Gangdong-gu area. The Gangdong Cultural Center conducts various cultural activities such as Dunchon writing contests, drawing competitions, and exhibitions for many Gangdong residents, as well as a philharmonic orchestra and mixed choir. It also strives to enhance the emotional atmosphere of the local community through programs for socially disadvantaged groups and projects related to the Amsa-dong site in Seoul. Representative cultural courses include Gangdong College of Culture and Line Dance, where you can take lectures on a variety of topics such as classical novels and psychology.
