Overview

Unlike other rounded mountains in Yangcheon-gu, Galsan boasts a stunning cliff-like view on the eastern side. Due to the long-term erosion of Anyangcheon, the mountain summit turned like a blade, which was called 'Kalsan' and later refined to 'Galsan'. At the entrance to Galsan, there is a children's traffic park, and halfway up the mountain, there is a central plaza, walking trails, and rest areas, and at the summit, an observatory where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Yangcheon. At the summit of Galsan, along with 'Galsanjeong,' is Korea's first 'Daosamgak Main Store' located next to it.
