Overview
Only a tiny portion of the coastal cliffs, which have endured the relentless waves and sea breeze, survive and take on a form resembling a dragon twisting its body and ascending to the heavens. If you turn to the right side of the cliff where you can see Yongtrim Rock, you'll see the Nampori fold, Natural Monument No. 507. This Nampori fold has bending or fractured strata (faults), and this phenomenon occurs when a strong force acts on these layers, causing them to deform. Due to its size and uniqueness, the Nampori Fold has been designated a natural monument.
