Overview
Cheonho Park is located in Cheonho-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul, and was established on June 20, 1998. This park was created by the Seoul Metropolitan Government after purchasing the factory site of Pilot, a company famous for fountain pens. Within the park is the Gangdong-gu Haegong Library, which opened on June 26, 2008. The name 'Haegong' comes from the pen name of Haegong Shin Ik-hee, an independence activist born nearby. In addition, the park is a center for local residents' leisure activities, featuring an outdoor stage, pond, and basketball court, and every spring, the scenery of blooming azaleas is beautiful.
