Overview
Changhee Jewelry Art Museum is a jewelry exhibition art gallery operated by Jo Changhee Jewelry (formerly JGEM). The exhibition showcased works created using various gemstones, fossils, wood, metals, and other materials, driven by the artistic sensibility and craftsmanship of Cho Chang-hee, a gemstone and precious metal craftsman who has worked for about 35 years. Breaking away from museums that only explained the types and characteristics of raw stones, the exhibition has elevated it into living works of art with stories, allowing visitors to glimpse over 50 years of jewelry design and craftsmanship techniques. Rare gemstones such as 300-million-year-old wood fossils, 200kg of stalactites, and 350kg of citrine are on display, with about 50 works ranging from as small as 30cm to as large as 3m.
