Overview
Gamgodang-gil is an alley lined with charming cafes and galleries. 'Gamgodang' means the residence of Queen Inhyeon, Sukjong's stepmother, and the site of Gamgodang is located on the site of Deokseong Girls' High School in the middle of this road, hence the name 'Gamgodang-gil'. Behind the Seoul Museum of Craft Art in Bukchon Hanok Village, the distance from Pungmun Girls' High School to Jeongdok Library is about 440 meters. Along the cozy streets, there are many pretty cafes and galleries, and craft markets are also held, making it abundance to explore every corner. Additionally, the narrow tiled walls and stone walls make for great photo spots, making it a popular photo spot and a perfect date spot. It was also the filming location of the 2018 tvN drama 'Goblin,' featuring many memorable spots from the scene where Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and Ji Eun-tak (Kim Go-eun) first meet each other as they pass by.
