Overview
Baekryeonsa [白蓮寺] is a temple belonging to the Taego Order of Korean Buddhism, located at 127-1 San, Suyu 4-dong, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, located on Samgaksan Mountain. Amidst the overlapping mountains of Bukhansan, many temples are located. Some have a long history, while others remain and their names are passed down. However, regardless of whether the temple's history is long or not, it remains the Buddha's lotus cultivation center. On the hiking trail leading from the April 19 National Cemetery to Daedongmun stands a small garam. Baekryeonsa is a small temple that hikers just pass by, but it was founded over 80 years ago in 1930 by Mrs. Lee Eun-soon with deep devotion. Afterwards, many people stayed there, establishing it as a place for practice and propagation. And today, as if they are there or not, they are always present and continue the Buddha's teachings and other teachings.
