Overview
Asia Park was established in preparation for the 1986 Asian Games, coinciding with the construction of the Athletes' Village and Journalists' Village apartment complex, and is adjacent to various sports facilities such as the Seoul Sports Complex. The spacious green space filled with various trees and flowers such as pine and jujube trees is well established, featuring natural and light sculptures, an outdoor performance stage, a plaza of poetry and paintings, the Songpa Culture and Arts Center, and the Burido (浮里島) Monument, making it widely used as a cultural and relaxing space for residents. By planning and promoting local cultural projects, the Culture and Arts Center fosters a sense of hometown affection and community unity, expanding opportunities for residents' cultural participation through diverse cultural events and lectures, and is widely utilized as a cultural and relaxation space that contributes to the promotion of culture and the arts.
