Overview
Ttukseom Hangang Park was famous as a riverside amusement park even before it was renovated as a Han River Park. Within the park, there are waterfront plazas, rose gardens, nature learning centers, and children's playgrounds. In spring and autumn, there is a cafeteria and a seasonal flower exhibition hall, while in summer, water sports such as windsurfing, water skiing, and motorboating are actively held, where visitors can enjoy romance and youth while feeling the cool breeze. In winter, snow sledding and skating rinks provide citizens with plenty of sights and activities throughout the year. In addition, there are facilities such as the X Game Hall, an artificial climbing wall, a cruise boat pier, and a Saturday Sharing Market, all of which are beloved by citizens. At Ttukseom Hangang Park, there is a space where art and relaxation come together, shaped like a slender cylindrical worm with a 243-meter-long body. This is the only exhibition hall dedicated solely to the Han River, where visitors can enjoy and experience the history and cultural value of the Han River in everyday life. Since it is connected to the Ttukseomwon area, anyone can conveniently enter the park through here, and the Jabeolle Corridor is designed for exhibitions of works by media art artists.
