Overview
Unlike regular performance venues, Myeongdong Nanta Theater is dedicated solely to Nanta. Non-Verbal Performance Nanta, Korea's representative cultural product, has opened a dedicated Nanta theater in Myeong-dong, the center of shopping tourism, to celebrate its 12th anniversary. Since the establishment of Gangbuk's first dedicated theater in 2000, Nanta has become a must-visit tourist destination for foreign visitors to Korea. With a capacity of 386 seats, the Myeongdong Nanta Theater hosts year-round performances, establishing itself as a venue where people of all ages can experience Nanta's charm more closely across borders. Through the Myeongdong Nanta Dedicated Hall, the charm and fun of Nanta are being maximized. Located 330 meters from Exit 6 of Myeongdong Station on Seoul Metropolitan Subway Line 4, in the heart of Myeong-dong, it offers high accessibility and attracts many visitors.
