Overview
Rising tall south of the Han River in Seoul, Gwanaksan forms the boundary between Sillim-dong in Gwanak-gu and Anyang and Gwacheon in Gyeonggi Province. The summit is made of rocks, and its appearance resembles wearing a traditional gat, which is how it got its name. It is easily accessible by public transportation and boasts majestic rocky ridges, making it a consistently popular route among hikers.
