Overview
Bupyeong Forest Incheon Butterfly Park is a natural park created around butterflies. It is a nature learning space where visitors can directly feel and experience nature close to the city center, equipped with various facilities to learn about butterfly ecology and forest ecosystems. Within the park, there is a nature education center where visitors can observe the transformation of butterflies such as the cabbage white butterfly from pupae to adult and learn about the ecosystem, as well as a butterfly ecological center built with a net structure where visitors can encounter live butterflies up close. Through this, students naturally learn not only about butterfly ecology but also about the importance of environmental protection. In addition, there is the 'Garden of Soil' where sunflowers, buckwheat, and rice grow, the 'Wildflower Garden' where you can observe seasonal wildflowers, and the 'Wetland Garden' where you can observe aquatic insects, fish, and amphibians. Additionally, there is a 'Sori Hill' where you can play percussion instruments made from recycled materials, and an 'Aquatic Botanical Garden' where you can observe plants growing underwater.
