Overview
It is a coastal park created in Okryeong-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. The park entrance connects to Aam-daero, and stairs are placed from the land toward the sea. Aamdo Coastal Park is an area with many rocky shores and dense small pine forests, offering a clear view of Incheon Bridge and Songdo International City across the sea. The sunset beyond the skyline of skyscrapers is worth watching. Aamdo was originally a small rocky island adjacent to the mainland. When the sea water enters, it becomes a whole island, and when it recedes, it can be walked over, making it a place frequently visited in the past. In the late 1980s, reclamation work on the Songdo coastal road progressed, turning the island onto land. In April 2000, the existing coastal outpost and about 1.2 km of barbed wire were removed, creating a coastal park covering approximately 12,000㎢. In front of Aamdo Coastal Park, a wide sea of sea spreads out, making it ideal for exploring the mudflats or observing migratory birds. It feels like an island left behind in a bustling city. The rocky shore by the sea provides a convenient space to find whenever you need some time alone. Visit if you want to enjoy a quiet and relaxing walk or capture a unique sunset by the sea.
