Overview
This is a hanji craft workshop run by Master Lee Mi-ja, Incheon's sixth master craftsman. The master craftsmen sell and experience hanji crafts such as keyrings, Hangul consonants and vowels, beoseon, tisal pattern windows, traditional lanterns, thread-stitched hanji notebooks, and ghost faces (goblins) using Korean hanji as the main material. In 1988, he opened a workshop in Gimpo and has operated an experience zone selling hanji products throughout Insadong and the Incheon area. Hanji is attracting attention as an icon of globalization, excellence, and hanji crafts in modern society, especially as a tourist attraction.
