Overview
Gangneung Art Center, established in 1993 as the Gangneung Culture and Arts Center, is a complex cultural space that creates new value. Aiming to expand opportunities for cultural enjoyment, it has grown into a cultural space for citizens through various performances, exhibitions, and arts education programs. It has two performance halls and three exhibition halls. Various flowers and plants are planted both inside and outside the building, making it a great place to explore. Children and examinees can enjoy various artistic experiences such as live performances and exhibitions, special lectures, and stage tours with children, exam candidates, and families. It also operates an arts education program called the Saturday Art Trial Festival.
