Overview
Gangneung Haesali Village is a rural village in Gangneung, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, famous for Gyeongpodae, Ojukheon, and Jeongdongjin. It is a typical rural village located about 2 km northwest of the township center. The village owns about 100,000 Gaedureup trees (Eomnamu), and holds the Gaedureup Festival every spring. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a special Dano experience using three commonly produced ingredients from Haesali Village (Gaedurup, Pine Mushroom, Persimmon), as well as traditional Dano, offering a special Dano experience.
