Overview
Built in December 1991, the Ganghwa Literary Center is located within a public stadium in Ganghwa-eup, with a total floor area of 4,056㎡, consisting of basement, one above-ground floor, and three above-ground floors. Centered around the Arts Center, various official events as well as cultural performances and sports events are consistently held, and recently, with the opening of the Culture House, youth usage has surged. Looking at the main facilities of the Arts Center, which is establishing itself as a representative cultural facility for regional cultural development as a new comprehensive cultural space, the basement houses a restaurant and a machine room, while the first floor houses a large performance hall with a capacity of 1,300, and large-scale cultural events are mainly held in the main hall.
