Overview
Yeongjong Bridge is a bridge connecting Yeongjongdo, home to Incheon International Airport, a hub airport in East Asia, and Seo-gu, the mainland area of Incheon. The Yeongjong Bridge, which stretches a total of 4.4 km, consists of a six-lane road on the upper deck, a four-lane road on the lower deck, and a double-track railway. It is part of the Incheon International Airport Expressway and the Incheon International Airport Railroad. It is the world's first three-dimensional midnight suspension bridge, allowing roads and railways to pass simultaneously and allowing ships up to 10,000 tons to pass under the bridge. It is designed to withstand strong winds and earthquakes. Just crossing the bridge allows you to see the Incheon sea and mudflats at a glance. At the Yeongjong Bridge rest area at the entrance to Yeongjong Bridge, you can see the Fortune Bear, the world's largest iron sculpture listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
