Overview
Buam-dong in Jongno-gu is a neighborhood with winding alleyways that retain the sophisticated atmosphere of Samcheong-dong and the old-fashioned charm of the past. Buam-dong is home to art galleries, unique cafes, and restaurants, along with mills and barbershops from the 1960s~70s. Originally, it was a neighborhood where artists from various fields such as painters, writers, and professors lived slowly, but recently, the area in front of the Buam-dong office has become famous as the first branch of the drama < Coffee Prince > Choi Han-sung's home, and unique cafes and shops have lined up along the road leading to the mountain corner café. Along with the streets of Samcheong-dong and Sinsa-dong, it is gaining attention as a stylish space. It is a great walking route and also has a tourist atmosphere, giving the neighborhood a variety of appearances.
