Premium Weekend Lunch Buffet at La Seine, Jung-gu Seoul

Today we had a family gathering at La Seine, the luxury lunch buffet inside Lotte Hotel Seoul in Jung-gu.

I had been looking forward to this day for weeks. I watched so many YouTube and blog reviews of La Seine beforehand that I was genuinely excited.

On the way to La Seine, we passed by the famous Strawberry Buffet at Peninsula Lounge & Bar in Lotte Hotel Seoul. The space is absolutely gorgeous, though the prices are steep enough to make you think twice.

La Seine is located inside Lotte Hotel Seoul, 30 Eulji-ro, Jung-gu. The hotel is connected to Lotte Department Store, but the layout is a bit confusing, so we had to ask for directions a few times.

We booked the Saturday lunch second seating about two weeks in advance. Despite the 180,000 won per person weekend price tag, the place was packed with families. Entry is at 2 PM sharp - arriving early does not get you in sooner. They check names and guide you to your table in an orderly line.

The interior has more tables than I expected, with nice spacing between them for a sense of privacy even when it is crowded. The staff were constantly clearing plates and bringing whatever we needed right away.
