For a special brunch with a friend, I headed out early to Butcher's Cut Dosan — a well-known steak restaurant in the Apgujeong/Dosan area of Gangnam. Located about 500m from Apgujeong Station Exit 3 (realistically a 10+ minute walk), the restaurant occupies its own standalone building, looking sleek and spacious.
Open Monday-Saturday 11:30-22:00, Sunday 11:30-21:00 (break time 15:00-17:00). We had reserved the terrace — and what a terrace it is! Even in winter, it was warm and comfortable. The space is fully enclosed with beautiful fire features, so we could take off our coats and dine comfortably. The decor is romantic and elegant — perfect brunch atmosphere.
I'd always known Butcher's Cut as a steak restaurant, but was surprised to discover they have a dedicated brunch menu. We ordered: Prime Ribeye (medium), Classic Cobb Salad, French Monte Cristo, and Cream Spinach.
The complimentary bread arrived soft and melt-in-your-mouth light. The Classic Cobb Salad was generous and fresh — tomatoes, cheese, eggs, bacon, corn, avocado all neatly arranged. We ended up mixing everything with the dressing. Absolute must-order for salad lovers.
