Ashley Queens Garakmal, Songpa — Great Value Lunch Buffet

I have been passing by Ashley Queens at Garakmal in Songpa on my bus route for ages, always telling myself I would try it someday. Today was finally the day.

Ashley Queens Garakmal branch is on the 3rd floor of Garakmal Building 1, 932 Yangjae-daero, Songpa-gu. It is about 322 meters from Garak Market Station Exit 2. Hours are daily 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM with no break time. Parking is available.

Pricing: weekday lunch 19,900 won, weekday dinner 25,900 won, weekends and holidays 27,900 won. The price gap between lunch and dinner is pretty significant. I have mostly done weekday lunches, and at that price point, the value is solid. For weekends or dinner though, I am less sure about the bang for your buck.

Even on a weekday, it was nearly full. Definitely make a reservation beforehand. After checking in, you prepay and get assigned a table number. We got C-25, a window seat - nice.

They have an Ashley app for regulars and frequent buffet-goers. There is also an option to order steak separately and unlimited tap beer for 4,900 won - tempting when you see that tap just sitting there, but I usually skip the add-ons.
